Serving the Iron Range and northeastern Minnesota
Regional Tourism Initiatives

In keeping with its mission to diversify the region's economy, Iron Range Resources supports the efforts of the tourism and hospitality industry in many ways.
Resources are allocated to a variety of regional marketing activities. Targeted, multi-media advertising campaigns are implemented seasonally, in collaboration with community destinations, to attract visitors to the area. A brochure featuring self-guided interpretive tours of heritage and historic sites is available to enhance the visitors' experience. Technical assistance is provided upon request to communities and organizations across the region.
A Culture and Tourism grant program has been developed to support non-profit organizations with initiatives that utilize cultural resources to stimulate tourism and enrich communities through artistic, heritage-related or recreational activities.
